About the client

Nakamura Shikki Sangyo, based in Shiojiri, Nagano, was founded in 1947. It manufactures and wholesales lacquerware, wooden goods and Japanese furniture, and sells through its own stores and department stores. Beyond lacquerware it carries a wide range of homewares and tableware, and runs an online shop.

What we focused on

Shop by daily scene

A gallery of real-life usage photos links straight to product pages, letting visitors browse by daily scenes such as eating or living rooms, an entry point separate from the product categories.

Gift-ready excitement

Red-led accent colours, ribbon motifs and playful motion give the shop an exciting atmosphere that makes its products feel like gifts worth choosing.
