Tenth Of October is not registered for GST, so no GST is included in our prices or added to our invoices.

• Get in touch: tell us about your business and what you need.
• Quote and proposal: we suggest the scope, fee and timeline.
• Agreement: we put the scope, fee and timeline in an agreement for you to sign.
• Start: work begins once the agreement takes effect (see the next section).
• Design and review: you review the work along the way and we refine it together.
• Delivery and payment: final files are released once the balance is paid.

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD).

• First projects of A$1,500 or more: a deposit of 30% of the total fee or A$500, whichever is higher, is payable on signing. The agreement takes effect, and work begins, once it is signed and the deposit is received. The balance is payable on completion, before final files are released. The deposit is taken off the total.
• First projects under A$1,500: no deposit is needed. The agreement takes effect once signed, and we invoice after delivery. Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date.
• For returning clients, payment terms are set out in each agreement.

You can pay by bank transfer or by credit or debit card. We do not add a surcharge for card payments. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your card details.

For ongoing design support, we offer monthly retainers.

• The monthly fee is paid in advance by automatic direct debit or card on the date set in your agreement.
• No card surcharge applies.
• Either party can end the retainer with 30 days notice in writing (email is fine).
• Unused time or work does not carry over to the following month.

There is no limit on revisions within the scope set out in your agreement. If you want to add deliverables or change the scope, for example a new direction after a concept has been approved, we will send a quote before doing the work and only go ahead once you agree.

• If you cancel before work begins, we refund any deposit in full.
• If you cancel after work begins, we charge for the work done up to the cancellation date. Any deposit goes towards that amount, and anything left over is refunded.

Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If an invoice is still unpaid 14 days after its due date, we may pause work and hold final files until payment is received.

• Ownership of the final approved designs passes to you once all fees are paid.
• Concepts that were not chosen remain with Tenth Of October.
• Fonts, stock images and other third party assets are used under their own licences.
• We always ask you first before showing your project in our portfolio.
