About the client

A vocational college in Shironishi, Matsumoto, Nagano. It offers Business, International Relations (Japanese Teacher Training and Japanese Language courses) and Global Business programmes, supports students toward more than 20 qualifications, and guides international students from learning Japanese through to employment.

DESIGN POINTS

What we focused on

Navy with a youthful lift

We paired the logo's navy with youthful colours so students moving steadily toward their future feel excited, and proposed an overhead, path-like composition for the main visual.

Built for translation

Designed with Google Translate in mind, the layout holds up with longer languages, and decorative English text is kept to a minimum so nothing is duplicated when translated.

Showing study and campus life

Alongside the breadth of study, the structure highlights basics such as the campus environment, so it also speaks to international students joining through the Japanese course.
