About the client

A park with a roadside station along National Route 20 in Shiojiri, Nagano. With go-karts, an indoor athletic course, a football pitch, barbecue area and mallet golf, plus Shiojiri's famous sanzokuyaki fried chicken and a farm produce corner, it is a place for families to spend the whole day.

DESIGN POINTS

What we focused on

Calm, with a sense of play

A calm base carries the feeling of a park full of activities and facilities to enjoy. Rounded corners throughout keep the impression soft and welcoming.

A park map for any device

The park map uses a button for each facility, with an illustration and the facility name in Japanese and English, so it is easy to read and browse on tablets and phones.

Check the weather before you go

A weather forecast area was included, with icons chosen to match the line weight of the site, so visitors can check what they need before setting out.
